Message	a core duo should do you good. how about a solid state (a.k.a. flash) hard drive so you won't have to deal with normal rotating assemblies dying on you. how about windows media center OS or vista? vista boots up and shuts down incredibly fast. hibernation is a lot faster, too. i hate having to break out the laptop every so often to check on the status of the car. it would be nice just to pull up a screen once in a while to see if there are any codes and what-not. *********************************
